Pipestone County has a prescription drop off location at the Sheriff's office in Pipestone. Items accepted include all medicines from households, including prescription, over-the-counter, liquid, solid, and pet medicines. Please do your part and keep these materials out of the landfill, the sewer systems, and the hands of minors.

  • The Recycling guides below show what items are Recyclable and which items should be placed loosely in the bin and which items need to be bagged prior to recycling.

 Fees For County Residents: 

  • Free

Fees for Businesses and Non-Residents: 

  • $10 per Appliance / TV / Electronic Device
  • $5 per PCB Ballast
  • 50¢ for fluorescent bulbs 4' & smaller 
  • 75¢ for fluorescent bulbs larger than 4'
  • 75¢ for U and Circular shaped bulbs
  • $1.25 for High Intensity Discharge bulbs
