Educational Programs Offered Each Year Include:

Poster Contest:
- Materials distributed in January and contest deadline being April of each year.

2009 Theme "Soils".

Prairie Ecology Bus:
-
The Pipestone SWCD provides funding for schools within the county to utilize the bus.

The ecology bus teaches children of all ages about conservation.

Soil Stewardship Week:
-
Soil Stewardship material is available to the churches in Pipestone County for a small charge.

The material can be used during church services, or other educational opportunities the last week in April and the first week in May.
- Women's Day Program:
- Provides information to women landowners throughout a 6-county area information about various conservation programs.
- Minimal fee for participation.

Area V Environmental Fair:

Environmental programs held for 6th grade students.

Fourteen county area in Southwest Minnesota.
